SMT stencils helps place a component easily onto a board after a coat of solder paste is applied. This comes handy if you are mass producing the same printed circuit board stencil service. A printed circuit board stencil service can help reduce manual placement of components thus reducing labour costs and leadtime to customers. We can be divided into framed and frameless formats. The framed stencils are apt for high volume printed circuit boards. The frameless stencilsfoils which arereplaceable in a high mix environment where many different PCB’s are manufactured on the same line. They need not be permanently glued onto the frame. Frameless systems have a higher initial cost for the frame but benefits will be seen long term as replacement costs for the foils are lower and less space is needed to store them.
